Accessibility Statement

1. My commitment

Janelle Webb and Glorify God Ministry are committed to making janellewebb.com (the "Site") accessible and usable for as many people as possible, and to improving it over time. I work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

2. What I've done

• The pages use clear headings, landmarks and labels, and the page language is set so screen readers pronounce text correctly.
• Images have text descriptions (alt text), and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Text and buttons are checked for color contrast.
• The Site can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines and a "Skip to content" link.
• Animations are reduced when your device is set to "reduce motion."
• Forms have visible labels and clear error messages.
• The narrated ChosenPages video on this Site has closed captions. YouTube videos linked from the Site offer YouTube's captions.
• The fixed-layout eBooks include a text description of every page for screen readers.
• The cookie banner can be operated by keyboard and screen reader, and the Site works whether you accept or decline.

3. How I test

On October 12, 2026, I tested every type of page on the Site (home, author, book, songwriter, song, free printables, Divine Living, ChosenPages, contact, eBook download and legal pages) with the axe-core automated accessibility checker against WCAG 2.1 A and AA, and fixed every issue it found. I also check keyboard navigation and focus by hand. I plan to review the Site again at least once a year and whenever I add new features.

4. Known limitations

Some content isn't fully accessible yet. Here's what I know about and what I offer instead:

• Printable PDFs (cards, the Free Bedtime Bundle and the Coloring & Activity Book) are designed as pictures for printing, so screen readers can't read all of their text. Alternative: email me and I'll send the text of any printable in a plain, readable format.
• Picture-book eBooks use a fixed page layout, so their text can't be resized or reflowed like a regular eBook. Each page has a text description. Alternative: email me for a plain-text version of the story.
• Music-only promotional videos on the Author page have no spoken words. Their message appears as large on-screen text and is also described on the page.
• Third-party content and services, such as Stripe's checkout page, Amazon, YouTube and social media sites, are run by other companies and follow their own accessibility standards. If you have trouble buying an eBook, email me and I'll help you complete your order another way.

5. Feedback and help

If you run into a barrier, please tell me. It helps to include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use (for example, a screen reader).
